1. What inspired you to get into this industry?

I hike all the time, it is my passion. A photographer who shot at the same location I was Hiking found me through Instagram and asked if I modeled, and at the time I didn’t (also never really thought about it to be honest) so he asked if I’d be willing to model for him and I said yes! From that point, it blew up (around CT).

2. How long have you been modeling?

I’ve been modeling since February 2017, so a little over a year now. I have so much to learn and so many more awesome people to meet!

3. Who is your favorite model? : Ruby Rose

4. Were you always comfortable in your own skin and in front of the camera?

Not always, the older I get the more comfortable I am becoming in my own skin and watching me grow as a model is helping me become more comfortable in front of the camera as well. I still get lots of candids back, I have a hard time keeping it serious I’m always laughing, but those create some real fun shots :)

5. Did you have any mentors who really helped mold and guide you?

In the modeling world, no. I didn’t have any “fellow models” help me throughout the process. Fortunately, several of my photographers have been so helpful with posing and keeping the vibes good, which is very important to me.

6. Do you have any tips for aspiring models in the industry?

Don’t ever compare yourself to anyone! That’s the biggest thing, because there are SO many different types of beauty and everyone sees beauty in a different way. This industry you can get caught up and think you are not good enough but that is not the case at all, as long as you keep grinding and have fun doing it, that’s all that matters. Also, and STAY HUMBLE.

7. Do you have a WTF moment at a shoot?

I feel like with myself I have a lot of WTF moments, like “wtf am I doing with my face or hands” haha! Also, I shoot a lot of things in public (not as much studio) so there are many things you can imagine happening around us and people staring and it’s funny to see people’s reaction sometimes.

8. What are some of the biggest revelations you've discovered through modelling?

Some of the biggest revelations I have discovered through modeling are within myself. I learned that I am definitely a go-getter and highly motivated. I work full time and on my days off, I’m still working on shoots. I really have no days off and any free time that I do have, I spend with my dog Hiking. I also learned that you should never stop doing what you like for a boy (especially modeling) they can get insecure about it but girls or guys need to find someone that supports their dreams or goals, whether it’s modeling or something else. I also discovered that opening my mouth a little bit makes me look less constipated in shots haha!!

9. Tell us something random about yourself.

I have alopecia areata and guttate psoriasis. These are both autoimmune diseases that are incurable and as a model I really have to make sure I control my stress so that I don’t cause any flare ups.

10. What are you most proud of?

I am most proud of how far I have come as a woman, and proud of all of the people who supported me to this point and haven’t given up on me yet and honestly I will be more proud to keep showing everyone what I am capable of going forward.

11. When it's all said and done, what do you want to be remembered as?

I just want to be remembered as the person that always brought good vibes and never gave up!
