The beauty of this collection wasn't just the colours though, but that each piece in itself was truly like a work of art, with painted textures and colour splashes that captured the eyes and ignited the imagination.

With furs, and layered cuts that gave a high-end appeal to nomadic stylings, Lococina’s supple, dramatic designs encouraged audience members to reflect on the past, and honour the future. De-constructing dress designs, time-zones, and fashion codes, Lococina found a way to celebrate the feminine shape in a fearlessly fierce way.

“Neko-pop” is a playful collision of the art movement “Japonisme”, which influenced and transformed Impressionist, and Post-Impressionist art, and urban pop culture.
