Meet Nadinne Bruna the brave girl, strong, genuine girl from Miami Beach who is a total fitness sensation.
SKYN: You've made such a wave in the fitness world, we'd love to know, what got you into fitness?
NB: My thyroid problems. I never could lose weight, so i created a very disciplined life.
SKYN: Well that disciplined life definitely worked out for you. Sounds like it was a tough journey, but you made it through great. Do you have any tips for anyone looking to start their own training journey?
NB: Yes. Change your diet. Forget the carbs and say welcome to the fat!
SKYN: Great tips! You eat so well and workout so hard, do you think that's what makes you so confident in your pictures? Were you always this comfortable in your own skin and in front of the camera?
NB: Not always. I suffered a lot of low self-esteem. That's why I look the way I look now. Now I'm confident, and I guess that's awesome.
SKYN: How long have you been modeling?
NB: Like 10 years.
SKYN: Wow - that's quite a bit of time. Do you have a favorite model?
NB: Larissa Reis, no doubts. A lot of attitude and style.
SKYN: Great choice. What about photographers? Do you have a favourite photographer?
NB: No. I know too many, and they are incredible professionals.
SKYN: Fair enough. Did you have any mentors who really helped mold and guide you?
NB: Yes, the outstanding photographer Alec Watson. With him i did my first shoots and he taught me how to create a model mayhem profile and it's because of him that I started in this world!
SKYN: Tell us something random about yourself.
NB: I've never had a drink of alcohol in my life. I don't know how it feels to get drunk. Lol
SKYN: Oh geeze. That's wild. That's definitely something to be proud of. Is there anything else that you're most proud of?
NB: I'm proud of who I am as a human being. A very loyal person.
SKYN: Loyalty is so key. Do you have any tips for aspiring new models in the industry?
NB: You have to love yourself no matter what. And be strong, because you're going to receive a lot of criticism.
SKYN: Good advice. You've been through a lot this past year, what are some of your best memories?
NB: I became an Instagram model.
SKYN: Ha, that you did. And a pretty big one might we add. Now that you've done that what are you hoping for for 2016?
NB: I want to work on television and get signed with some international lines.
SKYN: Totally doable. When it's all over what do you want to be remembered as?
NB: Remember that I MADE IT. I changed my life, I touched the sky with my hands, and I started from the bottom, and now I'm here.
