Here's to you Ms. Robinson.
SKYN: Rosie, you're a beautiful girl, what inspired you to get into this industry?
RR: One of my old school friends Mum. She was a photographer and thought I had potential so I had a few shoots with her to help me get used to being in front of the camera. Since then I haven't stopped.
SKYN: That's fantastic - it definitely started you off on a great career. We've seen your career grow quite a bit lately, but how long would you say have you actually been modeling for?
RR: I have been modelling for about 7 years now.
SKYN: Wow - that's a decent amount of time! And out of those 7 years have you discovered anyone whose style you really like to emulate? Who is your favorite model?
RR: I love Irina Shayk, Xenia Deli, Adriana Lima, the list goes on. I could look at girls allllll day everyyydayyy! Much more interesting than men!!
SKYN: Ha, we couldn't agree more! What about when it comes to those people working with the models, do you have a favourite photographer?
RR: I have many photographers I adore but the two favourites I've worked with myself has got to be Dmitriy Plyusnin, who I worked with in Dubai last year and will be working with again this year so I'm excited for that. Also Jack Russell who I work with a lot, his work speaks for himself and he's great to shoot with. We love to collaborate with each other for new projects/features. We make a good team.
SKYN: It's all about those teams, that's for sure. Aside from the photographers that you've worked with, did you have any mentors who really helped mold and guide you?
RR: Not really in the modelling industry, I just figured it out myself. You learn a lot in the modelling industry. I've always represented myself.
SKYN: Alright, fair enough. Aside from figuring out that you really enjoy modeling, could you tell us something random about yourself.
RR: I did gymnastics for 10 years and competed for Great Britain. Not bragging or anything ;) haha!
SKYN: Oh wow! That's wild! Congrats. No lie, that's a huge accomplishment. Are there any other accomplishments or things that you're most proud of?
RR: Last year I trained to become a Forex and US stocks trader. It was hard work and took a lot of dedication but I got there in the end and I feel so proud of myself for doing so :)
SKYN: Really?! Again, congratulations. You're an incredibly ambitious woman! Do you have any tips for aspiring new models or women in the industry?
RR: Try and be unique and not just follow others, try to stand out. Be patient, you won't become a well known model over night. It takes time. Show people you take it seriously if you want to succeed, get your name out there by working with all different photographers. You will have to start off by doing unpaid photoshoots but its worth it in the long run.
SKYN: It's definitely a grind, but with hard work it can certainly be worth it. What are some of your best memories of the past year?
RR: Last year was a crazy year. I traveled to so many amazing countries, some for photoshoots and others for just a holiday. My partner and I both work for ourselves so we make the most of that and travel as much as we can. As long as I have my laptop and phone I could work anywhere in the world. I'd prefer to be working with a view other than my office at home. Isn't the internet just the best.
SKYN: Haha, it's amazing how much we owe to the internet. So, what are some of your goals for 2016?
RR: I just want to work hard, progress with my Forex and US trading, modeling, YouTube channel and finally as a nutritionist. Travelling in between of course and living life to fullest like I've always done.
SKYN: And lastly, when it's all over what do you want to be remembered as?
RR: A cutie with a booty!!
