1. What inspired you to get into this industry?
When I was younger, I didn't really fit in. I was bullied and had a hard time really making friends. Now that I'm working in the industry, I have inspired so many girls and it's empowering to know that they look up to me and I've had a positive influence on the people around me. It's what keeps up my motivation and pushes me to try new things and work as hard as I do.
2. How long have you been modeling?
I started modeling in high school, classes and for fun, and only recently started modeling professionally. In total, I've been modeling for about 6 years.
3. Who is your favorite model?
Kendall Jenner. Through all of the criticism her and her family receives, she has grown into a great role model and has ultimately become a fashion icon. She hasn't let anyone or anything stop her and I have a lot of respect for how modest she is and how respectful she has stayed. She keeps her head down and her focus strong and that's what is most important.
4. Tell us something random about yourself.
I've spent the last 10 or so years of my life doing music, and most people have no idea that I rap. Rap music was a huge part of my childhood and growing up it gave me an outlet to express myself. Many of my role models today are rap artists and it has given me so many extra opportunities that I would have never guessed I'd be doing now in my life.
5. What are you most proud of?
Overcoming the adversities I've faced in life. There are many things I went through that most people thought would break me, hold me back, or ruin me. With the support of my family, I have been able to overcome most, if not all of it, and shape myself into a better person because of it. Though I do not wish any of it on someone else, I appreciate all the things I went through because it made me who I am today. What doesn't kill you truly makes you stronger.
6. When it's all said and done, what do you want to be remembered as?
An inspiration. It's not about the money, it's not about the fame, it's about inspiring those around me. If I can say I changed one person's life for the better, or helped one person through something hard in life, that's all I would need. With so many things changing the way we view the world today and interact with each other, we need more positive influences who are more concerned with helping those that support us. Teamwork makes the dream work.
